To set up an application in an OSGi environment, some basic set-up is needed. These pages contain some bundles that help you with this basic set-up:
- If you are using log4j as your final logging solution, possibly as a back-end to Apache Commons Logging and/or SLF4J, you will need a bundle variant of the log4j library. This variant can be downloaded from several bundle repositories, but these variants do not let you change your log4j configuration at run-time. The log4j variant on this site does.
- If you use a MySQL database, you may want to try the OSGi enterprise JDBC service implementation for MySQL.
- If you want to use an OSGi configuration admin service where the configuration is stored in property files, you may want to have a look at the CM persister bundle.
